Position Description

We’re Hiring: RN – Med Surg (Contract) | New York, NY

Location: New York, NY 10025

Contract Duration: Aug 4, 2025 – Nov 1, 2025

Shift: 7 PM – 7:30 AM | 3x12 Schedule | Weekends Required

Pay: $50- $55(hourly)

Unit Census: Avg 22 | Ratio: 1:6

️ Unit Size: 29 beds

What You’ll Do:

Provide patient-centered care grounded in evidence-based practices
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to manage complex care plans
Lead patient education and discharge planning
Support safety, quality improvement, and operational excellence
Demonstrate compassion and professionalism in every interaction

What We’re Looking For:

✅ Active NYS RN License

✅ BLS Certification

✅ 2+ years Med-Surg experience (ED experience is a plus!)

✅ 1 year of travel RN experience preferred

✅ EPIC experience strongly preferred

✅ BSN required (or actively enrolled in BSN program)
